Erbacher Scholarship Application
The Anna Hudson Erbacher Scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Schenectady County high schools intending to pursue a career in teaching. The scholarship is for $2,500 per year for up to four years, subject to continued qualification, including satisfactory grades. The final selection of the scholarship recipient will be based on scholarship, financial need, character and extra curricular and community activities.
Instructions to Applicants:
- Type or clearly print answers to all questions.
- Authorize your Guidance Counselor to submit your scholastic record directly to The Schenectady Foundation at the address below postmarked no later than April 2, 2012.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from one classroom teacher.
- Write your own personal letter explaining why you are interested in a teaching career. In the letter, include information on your community involvement and extra curricular school activities during your high school career.
- Submit all material postmarked by April 2, 2012.
